How to Save and Restore Your Game

To ensure you can save your progress and continue later, follow these steps:

Saving Your Progress

1. During gameplay, type the command save and press Enter.
2. When prompted, enter a file name for your saved game (e.g., adventure1.sav) and confirm.
3. Your browser will download the save file to your computer, usually in the Downloads folder.
4. Move the file to a safe location for future use, such as a dedicated folder for saved games.

Restoring Your Game

1. At the start of the game or during gameplay, type the command restore and press Enter.
2. When prompted, use the file picker to locate and upload your previously saved .sav file.
3. Your progress will be restored, allowing you to continue your adventure from where you saved.

Important Notes

• Keep Your Save File Safe: Store your .sav file in a reliable location, and consider backing it up to avoid accidental loss.
• Cookies Warning: Parchment does not rely on cookies to save games. All saved data is stored in the downloaded file.
